Who is it for?
- Patients with azoospermia, that is, when there is an absence of sperm in the ejaculate and it is not possible to obtain sperm after testicular biopsy.
- Patients with a pathological diagnosis of semen with failed IVF cycles.
- Men with a genetic disorder that cannot be studied in the embryos before implantation.
- Chromosomal abnormalities in the semen.
- Men carrying a sexually transmitted disease whose viral load persists after successive washes of the semen sample.
- In the case of women without a male partner.
- When required in cases of Rh isoimmunisation: the male has a positive blood group and his partner a negative one, as well as being isoimmunised (producing antibodies against the red blood cells of the foetus with a positive blood group).

Donor selection
Our donors must pass a rigorous evaluation process that includes psychological, medical and genetic tests, as well as having good quality semen.
The assigned donor will have the closest possible phenotypic similarity, that is to say, in terms of physical characteristics (race, height, eye colour, hair colour, hair type, etc.) and immunological characteristics with the recipient woman according to Spanish law. This ensures optimal donor selection.
Only 11% of men pass the strict quality filters required by the clinic and become donors.
